Whether you are a developer or investor, being aware of changes in an area that could impact on values can be the difference between making a profit or a loss on a project.
At Nimbus, we are continually adding new features and datasets to the platform, giving you the comprehensive property information you need to identify potential risks quickly, increasing your chances of being successful.
Introducing the new HS2 Route overlay
The new HS2 route delivers a fast train from London to Birmingham (and beyond as part of the future phases) at very regular intervals (up to 14 trains per hour in each direction).
Developments and properties near the HS2 route will experience much higher levels of noise than they currently do, which is likely to affect their saleability or attractiveness at disposal.
How the HS2 Route Overlay will help you
Usually, the exact route is unknown at the point of offer and transaction, and would likely be found after a property has been put into legals and parties have committed to costs e.g. legal fees.
We’ve created this overlay to clearly highlight the HS2 route for you, so you can make the most informed decision when selecting a site.
How to use it
Simply select the Location Analysis tool in the top right of the Nimbus Maps app, then select the HS2 Route overlay from the Technical dropdown menu.
The map will highlight the exact HS2 route and will also differentiate between the different phases with a range of colours.
